MUSIC - Bathos Percussion Trio

02/04/2021

Bathos is a percussion trio based in Oslo, consisting of Håkon Drevland, Geir Strande Syrrist and Simen Brenden. They studied classical percussion together for 5 years, and played together in many different contexts during their education. The variety in this wide range of experiences gives them a solid base for interacting musicially in an interesting way. In late 2018 they had their debut concert at the Norwegian Academy of Music, a concert they produced themselves. The trio is concerned with challenging themselves technically, musically and interactively through existing repertoire, but are also working actively with premiere performances and cooperating with composers. And they would like to share this passion with you

Easter Festival Gotland look forward to have Bathos participate in our programme in 2022. Until then, enjoy their video in todays' easter egg!
