Ad Fontes

Ad Fontes * to the sources) was founded in 2014 by the artistic director, Dan Eiderfors. The ensemble consists of 6 singers with different degrees of music studies. Some of them are church musicians, all are experienced choir singers.

It is a free ensemble at Gotland, and it sings music from the masters of the renaissance, a o T L da Vittoria, W Byrd, T Tallis, G P da Palestrina, J P Sweelinck. The ensemble performs in old churches where the acoustics do the music justice.
