Gisela Herb

Gisela Herb was born and raised in München, Germany. She has a special interest in Latin American music and has released CDs with piano music by Alberto Ginastera and H. Villa-Lobos that has been praised: "virtuosic, rhythmic vital, captivating, extraordinary sonority". Gisela Herb is also much dedicated to young talents development. In Stavanger she led the national talent programme Young Musicians Rogaland . At Gotland she startet together with Maria Wernberg the series "Public House Concerts" where professional musicians, young talents and gifted amateurs make music together. Gisela Herb is currently living on Gotland and gives concerts with both solo-and chamber music on Gotland and abroad. She cooperates frequently with the young violinist Maria Wernberg.
