Frey Franzén

I was born in Brussels eleven years ago. Both my Spanish-Austrian mother and Swedish father are into music. I lived my first years in Barcelona and we moved to Visby in Gotland when I was five.

I started to play the violin when I was six years old. Since more than a year, I play in the local Sinfonietta and have several violin lessons each week. Past summer, I participated in the Jeunesse Musicales Orchestra Camp in Mariazell in Austria: super fun and inspiring! I have string trio with friends, where we play more freely.

When I don't play the violin, I am fencing in the Gotland Fencing Club and singing in the Gotland Boys' Choir, I speak many languages and like to travel. I listen to classical violin music but also to other styles of music.
